HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Pink was the color of Grandma's icing on her b-day cake. Also Justin had to try to make some kind of a statement. So he put 2 groups of candles on the cake, each one in the shape of a tepee so as to make a big fire. Grandma Heywood and Aunt Annette made Sunday dinner and we ate at Grandma Heywoods. We hope grandma had a good birthday.

Final Product

I didn't realize that I hadn't put the decorated tree picture on, so here it is. The tree itself was a nice tree, but the needles were a little bit light green. But we like it.

After getting the tree

It's always fun to go back to Grandma's and have hot chocolate. We missed you Steve's Family and Shanon's Family and can't wait to see you at Christmas time.

Getting and decorating our tree

Every year the kids look forward to looking for, choosing it, cutting it down and decorating our Christmas tree. It's a very special family tradition, thanks Grandma & Grandma Shish for starting it and keeping it going.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

I am terrible (but so are the rest of my family). We didn't take any pictures on Thanksgiving Day, but it was still fun to be with and talk to everyone.

Also on Sunday we had our annual Grandma Eleanore's Thanksgiving Dinner. I only got a few pictures, I need to take more.

Gymnastics

The girls have been taking gymnastics once a week since we have moved here. They have a lot of fun and have become very limber!

Anniversary

It was our Anniversary on November 23, that was Sunday. Here are a few pictures from the past. 12 years and a lot of pounds ago we were married in the St. George Temple. Can't believe it has been that long, and yet it just seems like yesterday.

Camri's 1st Lost Tooth!

Camri and Alyssa were taking a bath and Camri had a tooth that was loose. So I guess she gave it one big yank and out it came. Luckily she didn't drop it in the bath water. It did bleed quite a bit, and she was a little nervous. But tomorrow she will probably be glad (after the toothfairy comes). Yeah, Camri!

I'ts Christmas Time!

Well we were cleaning a few things out of the garage and hadn't put the halloween stuff away yet. So we just decided to skip right to the Christmas decorations. I guess if you can't beat 'em join'em, so Christmas here we come

Birthdays and Staring

Also today was Aunt Annette's Birthday! We helped her celebrate with cake and ice cream at Grandma Fischer's house. Hope you had a good birthday Aunt Annette!
Also during the cake and ice cream Camri and Megan were having a staring contest.

Veteran's Day

With it being Veteran's Day, the Elementary School had their usual assembly. They invited Grandpa Fischer to bring some memorabilia and come to the assembly to be honored. Each Veteran had an escort, so the kids were able to escort Grandpa in. What a great honor it is to be a Veteran and how proud we are to have them in our family.

Halloween 2008

Halloween was fun this year. All the grandkids were there accept Alex, maybe next year. Thanks Grandma Fischer for helping with the kids.

Carved pumpkins

Here is the finished product. It was a fun process (I guess) carving the pumpkins. A little trick we do is cut the bottom out and then sit the pumpkin over the candle. Fun times!

Drew Karate

Drew has been taking Kuan Shu Karate for just over a year now. He just received his green belt. He is doing a good job and working hard.

Change (I hate it)

I have to agree with you Heather(my sister-in-law). Change stinks! We have had a lot of different things change this past year. I know it all needs to happen, but sometimes I just hate it. One thing that changed is our Grandma passed away. We all loved Grandma Eleanore so much and we will all miss her very much.

Oops

I made a major boo boo. I am supposed to be this techno savy person, but when I was trying to do something on my digital camera I accidentally erased all my pictures. So I won't be putting on any back dated stuff. I will pretty much be starting from now. But it will be worth the wait, exciting stuff. Ha Ha

Most recent family pic

Well this is the most recent picture of our family. Yes, we need to take more family pictures. This was taken out back of my Grandma's house by an old shed. We had the whole family there to take pictures. I think this was last winter, so almost a year since our last family picture.

Since we just started this, it will be too hard to catch up with all our past years. So maybe we will just start with this new school year. So stay tuned for some backdated pictures and some good readin.
