Mom's Birthday

On Friday was my birthday. Thanks to all of you who sent birthday wishes and to Leniece for making me a cake. Me, Alyssa and Camri decided to head over to Tropic to the softball games, because I help coach. Alyssa took her shoes and mitt just in case. But it turned out that her team didn't have enough to play so they recruited Camri and her friend. They did good, but it didn't make Alyssa very happy. On Saturday Justin and I headed to Cedar with the horse trailer to get my birthday/Justin's birthday/Christmas present, new decking. But, of course, what we were told was all wrong and it turned out to be way more expensive than we planned. So my mom took me clothes shopping and I also spent some of my birthday money on some new outfits.

This last weekend

Again, I took my camera and didn't get it out once. Camri had the choice to do something on her birthday or go to St. George on the weekend, she chose the weekend. So we headed to Mesquite for a day and St. George for a day. Of course it was the hottest of the year, 104 on Saturday and about the same on Sunday. We did a lot of swimming and then had a good time at Fiesta Fun. On the way home we headed to the mall and Camri got her last birthday present, her ears pierced.

Happy Birthday Camri!

Our little baby is 8 years old, I can't believe it! Today we had some cake and ice cream with family and then this weekend we are going to Mesquite and St. George.

Thank you to everyone for your gifts and birthday wishes. She loves getting money and she is a good saver. As you can see we gave her a scooter, I will post some videos of her riding later.

Last day of school/Graduation

Today was the last day of school (May 27th). I can't believe that kids will be going into the 3rd, 5th and 7th grades.

Drew spoke at his graduation. You couldn't hear him very good, but I have a copy of his talk so everyone can read it, if they want.

Thanks to everyone for all their support of my kids and our family. Thanks for coming to graduation, G&G Fischer and Katie & Megan. We love you Drew and are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments!

Camp read-a-lot

Today was a fun day at school. It is called camp-read-a-lot. All the students are challenged (in January) to read a certain amount of books and if they complete their challenge then they get to attend the camp-read-a-lot. This year's theme was Catch the reading Wave. It was a sports theme, that is why the kids are dressed in their sports attire. I go every year and help out with Camri's class, it is always a lot of fun!

What?! SNOW?!

You know it, snow on May 24th! What more can I say, the pictures say everything!

Memorial Day weekend

We headed over to Minersville for the weekend and spent it doing a lot of fun things. All the cousins were there (except Ava) and we played in the water a lot. We rented the pool and put up the new water slide. Clay & Stacey got their little baby blessed and then of course a lot of eating. I had my camera, but never pulled it out once. Yes, I stink! The kids had a lot of fun spending time with family.
